On August 11, Dongfeng's new flagship model and Yipai Technology's new strategic vehicle - JF-L8 - launched pre-sales in Beijing. Dubbed "the most comfortable luxury cabin under $30,000", the JF-L8 integrates the full strength of Dongfeng to redefine the standards of comfort and intelligence for family vehicles. It delivers a premium, comfortable, intelligent, and safe driving experience to mainstream family users, along with nine pre-sale privileges.

"Stunning looks that deserve praise, seats as cozy as a sofa, smooth driving that lifts your mood, smart and considerate like a butler, over 2,000km range, and safe and reliable to drive home." Zhu Guangquan, a CCTV host, acted as a special experience officer and wittily summed up the core strengths of the JF-L8.

As a hybrid SUV targeting mainstream family users, the JF-L8 is positioned as a "Great Family Smart Hybrid SUV". "Great" refers to its spacious interior that accommodates the whole family's life, with dimensions of 4762×1910×1677mm and a class-leading wheelbase of 2825mm, providing ample and comfortable seating space for family members. "Family" embodies the warmth of caring for the whole family's travels. "Smart" represents the capability to satisfy every family member.

In terms of comfort, the L8's "Cloud-Soft Big Sofa" seats have been awarded the "Seat Comfort Star" certification by the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI). The driver's seat features a zero-gravity SPA function, equipped with 24 massage modes, three-level ventilation and heating, intelligent adjustment with dual lumbar airbags, driver's headrest speakers, and a one-touch nap mode. The JF-L8 comes in six colors: Yunxiao White, Xingduan Cyan, Yanliu Silver, Yuejin Gray, Mojuan Black, and Yaoye Gray. It is equipped with the world's only 4-speed + ECVT electric drive combination, a 1.5T turbocharged hybrid-specific engine, a 30.3kWh large battery, and a 55L fuel tank, forming Dongfeng's strongest hybrid "combination punch". According to tests by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), the L8 offers a pure electric range of 248km, a combined fuel consumption of 2.4L/100km, a combined range of 2245km, and a combined power of 265kW, delivering long range, strong power, and fuel efficiency. It also features 3C fast charging, taking only 18 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%.

Safety is the bottom line. The JF-L8 is equipped with the industry's first 4-layer cell-reinforced power battery, whose safety meets new national standard requirements in advance, being resistant to puncture, extrusion, water immersion, and drop. It is fitted with full-range airbags and curtain airbags to protect the whole family's peace of mind. Additionally, it comes with 28 L2-level intelligent driving assistance functions, enabling intelligent safety control and hazard avoidance.
